Assess the integrity of the additional layer at complex joints of the composite geomembrane. During the installation of the protective layer, ensure both the bonding area and bonding strength of the waterproof membrane to guarantee the quality of the project. Apply an oil-based adhesive to the surface to secure the required bonding area.

During construction, fabric and other building materials significantly affect the hydraulic conductivity of composite geomembranes. Heavy objects must not be placed on the composite geomembrane to prevent damage; however, the pressure it can withstand is an important factor determining its hydraulic conductivity.

Before welding, properly align the two edge PE sheets at the joint. During welding, use a dedicated welding machine to bond the composite geomembrane. Adjust the temperature and travel speed appropriately; adhesive bonding is also an option.
